When you are ready to collect your samples of hair and saliva that will be scanned, please follow the directions below.
DIRECTIONS FOR COLLECTING SAMPLES
If you are taking any supplements routinely, you get the most accurate results if you skip taking them for 2 days prior to collecting your samples. Also, collect samples 20-30 minutes before you plan to eat or drink anything but water. Water is ok to drink anytime.
To collect your hair sample follow these instructions:
In one zip-lock bag place about 1 teaspoon of hair. The hair doesn’t have to be from the root and it doesn’t matter if you color your hair.
For the saliva sample swab 2 Q-tips in your mouth using a generous amount of saliva. Place the Q-tips in a separate zip lock bag. Please label both bags with your name and the date.
If you take supplements that you want to have checked to determine if they balance, you can include those too in separate bags. Just make sure to clearly label what they are and write your name on that bag too.
